So far in BIB we've touched on some big issues - life/death, heaven/hell, the Bible, demons, angels, wow - so many things.
Why do you think it's important that we talk about these things?
Where do we get our information about life and death from? Why is it helpful then, to look at what the Bible says about these things...

DeleteI worry everyday that my three sons will grow up and decide to not follow God. I worry about YOU girls and all of Year 8 - that you won't quite understand what it means to be a follower of God. I think you can be a wonderful follower of God and not have to turn into a geek. Just look at Tess from yesterday's assembly. What an amazing woman of God she is!!!

I think it's important too talk about death because we won't live forever and we can't live knowing we will never die. But at the same time it's scary knowing we will die and we will never know when god is going to talk us from earth so we may not get to 'live to the fullest' and do everything we want to before we die...

I'm kind of scared tho, because Im friends with this really nice guy and he isn't a Christian... And it says in a memory verse that whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the WRATH of God remains on him... And that's kind of freaky... :/
